Ordering

How do I order a number plate?

Use our plate builder on the homepage to customise your plate — choose your size, style, badge, and border. Once you’re happy, click Add to Cart and complete checkout. It takes just a few minutes.

Do I need to provide proof of entitlement?

Yes. By law we must verify that you are entitled to display the registration you’re ordering. You’ll be asked to upload a photo of your V5C (logbook), a recent MOT certificate, or a registration certificate during checkout.

Can I order plates for a private registration?

Yes. Simply enter your private registration in the plate builder as you would any other number. You’ll still need to provide proof of entitlement at checkout (e.g. a retention certificate or V750/V778 document).

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and PayPal Pay in 3 (buy now, pay later in three interest-free instalments).

Plates & Styles

Are your plates road legal?

Yes. All plates sold through our standard builder are fully road legal and DVLA-approved. They comply with the Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 and carry the required British Standard (BS AU 145e) markings.

What’s the difference between Standard, 3D Gel, and 4D plates?

Standard — flat printed characters on an acrylic plate. Clean, classic look, fully road legal.

3D Gel — raised gel resin characters that give a domed, premium 3D effect.

4D — solid 3mm laser-cut acrylic characters bonded to the plate, giving a bold, deep raised effect. The most premium option.

What sizes do you offer?

We stock a wide range of standard and custom sizes for cars, vans, and motorcycles. The most common are the standard oblong (520×111mm front, 520×111mm rear) and the standard square rear (285×203mm). Use the plate builder to browse all available sizes.

Can I add a flag or badge to my plate?

Yes. You can add a flag badge (GB, England, Scotland, Wales, or Union Jack) and a national identifier to the left side of your plate in the builder. All badge options comply with current DVLA regulations.

Do you do motorcycle plates?

Yes. Select the Motorbike option in the builder to see the correct road-legal motorcycle plate sizes.

Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed before our daily cut-off are dispatched the same day and typically arrive within 1–2 working days via Royal Mail or courier. You’ll receive a dispatch notification by email.

Do you deliver to Northern Ireland or outside the UK?

We deliver across the whole of the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland. We do not currently ship outside the UK.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order is dispatched you’ll receive an email with your tracking details so you can follow your delivery.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return my plates?

Because number plates are custom-manufactured to your specification, they cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or are incorrectly made. If there’s a problem with your order, please contact us and we’ll put it right.

My plates arrived damaged. What do I do?

We’re sorry to hear that. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement at no extra cost.

Fitting

How do I fit my new plates?

Most plates fit using the existing screw holes on your vehicle. You can add a fitting kit to your order at checkout, which includes stainless steel screws and caps. Sticky pads are also a popular alternative for a clean, screw-free look.

Is it difficult to fit plates myself?

Fitting is straightforward for most vehicles and takes under 10 minutes. Remove the old plate, align the new one over the existing holes, and secure with screws or sticky pads. No specialist tools required.
